JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR

Celebrating its 50th Anniversary, this new mesmerizing production of the iconic musical phenomenon returns to the stage! With lyrics and music by EGOT winners Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas. Reflecting the rock roots that defined a generation, the legendary score includes “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” “Gethsemane” and “Superstar.”

**A note on tonight’s performance of Jesus Christ Superstar.**
We were informed earlier today that damage to a water main at Angelina College caused the closure of much of the campus while repairs are being made. The Angelina College Arts Building that houses the Temple Theater is NOT affected by this problem. Preparation for tonight’s performance is still underway and the performance remains scheduled for this evening at 7:30 PM.
