LUFKIN, TX (July 13, 2023): The Angelina Arts Alliance’s Pines Classic Films Series continues showcasing some of the best films in cinematic history this summer with three family-friendly films that promise to entertain and keep filmgoers cool from the sweltering summer heat. Starting July 14 with Sister Act, followed by Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on August 11 and then In the Heights on September 8, the series is a great way to see some films that you haven’t seen in a while on the big screen.

Between now and December there will be six fabulous films, and all of them are detailed on the Angelina Arts website.  To triple your fun, call the Box Office at 936-633-5454 and purchase three tickets for three different films at once, and you’ll get a punch card good for a free concession item at each film.

All Pines Classic Film Series screenings will take place at 7 p.m. at the Pines Theater.
