RIOULT CAST LIST ANNOUNCED!

Lufkin, TX-On Saturday, August 13th, 20 local dancers were selected to participate in RIOULT Dance/New York‘s modern dance matinee performance scheduled for Saturday, September 17th at 2:30pm at the Temple Theater on the Angelina College Campus in Lufkin. The dancers, ages 9-13, auditioned for two professional dancers from RIOULT who flew into town to oversee the process. “The talented pool of dancers made our decision a tough one”, said dancer and teaching artist, Marianna Tsartolia. “We appreciate all of the families who brought their children to audition.”
Those who will participate in the “Small Steps, Tiny Revolutions” are as follows: Alexandria Tatum, Camille Cumbie, Caroline Deaton, Catherine Rich, Emily Massingill, Grace Montes, Haley Carlile, Jayla Telford, Kaylee Jones, Kendall Palmore, Lucy Gabriel, Maggie Ethington, Mary Beth Ratcliff, Mary Grace Polk, Maya Deason, Melissa Hailey, Olivia Fannon, and Peyton Kimble. The children will also be part of the Angelina Arts Alliance Schooltime Series performances scheduled for 10am and 1pm on Friday, September 16th.
Geared for young people and family audiences, Small Steps actively involves local students in the creative process through a series of workshops, giving them a special opportunity to perform on stage with professional dancers.
Tickets for the September 17th Family Matinee may be purchased at the Temple Box Office in person or by phone at 936-633-5454. Box Office hours are 11:00am-5:00pm.
