Franc D’Ambrosio’s resume includes an Academy Award-nominated film, an Emmy Award-nominated television show, Tony-nominated Broadway show, two Grammy considerations, and a National Theater Award nomination. A handsome guy with a chiseled jaw and mischievous blue eyes, D’Ambrosio tells the audience that he was born to a very traditional Italian family in the Bronx. He later studied with Luciano Pavarotti in Italy, made his Broadway debut in Sweeney Todd, and played the role of Anthony Vito Corleone in “The Godfather: Part III”, where his charming New York accent served him well. Franc D’Ambrosio’s Broadway mixes heartwarming stories of Franc’s childhood with some of your favorite Broadway songs. He has an astounding vocal range that can change pace in a moment’s notice, from crooning ballads to operatic arias.
In addition to spending summers in Italy, lecturing for the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, he also works with the Cherubini Music Conservatory in Florence, Italy and American University in Washington DC. Franc loves to share his passion for music and teaching his craft everywhere he goes. And Lufkin is no exception.
