LUFKIN, TX. Ernie Haase + Signature Sound (EHSS) will entertain and inspire the audience at the Temple Theater in Lufkin on Saturday, April 28, at 6 pm with their unique southern gospel sound. The award-winning quartet -- fresh from their first sold-out Australian tour -- brings that same powerhouse performance to East Texas. Communicating the Good News with groundbreaking originality, EHSS has given a whole new energy and vitality to southern gospel music. Tickets for this performance are available at the Temple Theater Box Office. Presented by the Angelina Arts Alliance, ERNIE HAASE + SIGNATURE SOUND will meet and greet fans before the show on April 28 starting at 5 pm in the Temple Theater lobby, where CDs and other souvenirs will be available. The 42nd Annual GMA Dove Awards named both Doug Anderson, Baritone, and Wayne Haun, pianist and producer for EHSS, as 2011 award- winners in multiple categories. The group's founder and leader, Ernie Haase, was a long-time member of the famous Cathedral Quartet. Ernie’s roots are deeply planted in the rich legacy of music that is both meaningful and thoroughly entertaining. The group will perform stunning new material from their recently released CD, Here We Are Again, as well as a selection of favorites from their “Cathedral Tribute” project.
Tickets are $27-$35, (Premium/$45) and groups purchasing 15 tickets or more are eligible for a 15% discount. All unsold tickets go on sale for half- price beginning one hour before performance time.
