Christmas Bells are Swingin’ with the spectacular sound of Boston Brass and the All-Stars Big Band! This big-band holiday spectacular, presented by Angelina Arts Alliance, comes to the Temple Theater Thursday, December 9th at 7:30pm. Tickets ($31-$40) are available at the Temple Theater box office. The box office is open weekdays noon-5:30, or you may purchase tickets by phone at 936-633-5454. The Temple Theater is located on the Angelina College campus in Lufkin. Boston Brass is sponsored by Lufkin Industries, Inc. and Angelina Radiation Oncology Associates. Tenth Anniversary Season Sponsor is Temple-Inland.
Boston Brass treats audiences to a unique brand of entertainment that captivates all ages. The performance features Boston Brass and a team of All-Star Brass players from around the world, blending their brand of humor and lively arrangements for a night of great music and boisterous fun. The concert will highlight big band jazz arranger Stan Kenton’s Christmas Carols, along with other holiday favorites, including Joy to The World, The Twelve Days of Christmas, Greensleeves, and Frosty the Snowman. The 15-member ensemble features trumpets, trombones, French horns, tuba, and a swinging jazz rhythm section. Boston Brass promises to light up the stage with an energy and excitement that will have you ensconced in the Christmas spirit. Celebrate the gift of music this season with a live concert that’s sure to be a cherished memory for years to come.
