Camp CenterStage
Enrollment for Angelina Arts Alliance's three popular summer theatre camps will begin in March 2012. Camp CenterStage, Centerstage Junior, and CenterStage Academy will celebrate their tenth summer of hands-on theatre training for young people.
CenterStage Junior is a five-day camp for children entering grades 1-3 that is an "express yourself" camp experience with campers involved in group creative play involving drama, movement, music and costume. Choose from morning camp 9:00am-noon or afternoon camp from 1:30pm-4:30pm. Price $100
Camp CenterStage is designed for students entering grades 4-7. Centerstage Academy welcomes teens entering grades 8-10. Campers in both camps spend all day (Mon-Fri) - under the guidance of an experienced theatre faculty - learning the art and craft theater in a fun and supportive atmosphere. The Academy focuses on creating performance and includes more intensive instruction in acting and technical theatre. Price $250
Camp CenterStage is specifically designed to inspire creativity, stretch imaginations, expand artistic potential, and enhanced self-esteem. Camp class sizes are limited, so early enrollment is encouraged. Both partial and full scholarships are available.
